    We encourage students to strengthen this space together. Use the Contribute & Suggest page to send us links, documents, or ideas. Every submission is reviewed before being published. 

  • Can I get direct help from GSF through this platform?

    If you cannot find what you need, you can use the Contact form to reach out. While GSF does not provide individual casework like a legal office, we may be able to connect you with relevant programmes, organisations, or partners who can. 

  • Does the platform provide legal advice?

    No. The content is for general informational purposes only. It cannot replace legal advice or guarantee outcomes. Where legal or professional advice is needed, we encourage you to consult a qualified expert. 

  • What is this platform?

    This platform is a knowledge base created by the Global Student Forum (GSF). It is designed to help students worldwide find information, resources, and guidance on common challenges, from visa issues to human rights protection, education access, wellbeing, and advocacy. 

  • Who can use the platform?

    Any student, anywhere. The platform is free and open. Whether you are in higher education, vocational training, or involved in student activism, you are welcome to explore and use the resources here. 

  • Is my personal data safe if I contact GSF?

    Yes. We take privacy seriously. Any personal information you share through forms or contacts will be handled under our Privacy Policy and in compliance with data protection laws (including GDPR).

  • Where is GSF based?

    The Global Student Forum has its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, and works with partners and members worldwide. 

  • How can I get involved in GSF?

    Individual students cannot join GSF directly, but you can engage through your national student union, regional student platform, or thematic student network if they are members. You can also participate in GSF campaigns, surveys, and events. 

  • Is GSF part of the United Nations?

    No. GSF is an independent civil society organisation. However, we engage actively with the UN and other international institutions to bring the voices of students into global policy processes.

  • Who are GSF’s members?

    GSF is made up of national student unions, regional platforms, and thematic student organisations from around the world. Together they represent millions of students in every region. 

  • What does GSF do?

    GSF advocates for students’ rights in international decision-making spaces, builds solidarity across borders, and supports democratic, inclusive, and accessible education. We work on issues such as human rights, sustainability, mobility, equity, and student participation in governance. 

  • What is the Global Student Forum?

    The Global Student Forum (GSF) is the worldwide umbrella organisation of the student movement. We bring together national unions of students, regional platforms, and issue-based organisations to represent the interests and rights of students on a global level.
